is a comfortable one-room cabin for 2 persons, nestled in the woods on the edge of a slough. Guests can relax on the swing glider and read a book, watch wildlife from the porch, take the canoe or kayaks out for a leisurely paddle, or just relax. The cabin is fully furnished with a king bed and a queen-sized sofa sleeper for that extra person or child. There's air conditioning for summer and heat for winter, and all the linens, towels, kitchen utensils and equipment that you may need, and a covered grilling area. Slough View is a pet-friendly cabin (please bring a crate or other containment for times the pet is alone).

  • "Suite" kitchen

    with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, tabletop convection oven and Mr. Coffee coffee maker; coffee, tea, hot chocolate; all dishes, silverware, pots, and pans, etc., and, outside, a two-burner range top.

  • Screen porch

    with table, chairs, and glider

  • Barbeque grill

    (bring your own charcoal)

  • Firepit

  • Canoes and kayaks

    (with paddles and lifejackets) available within walking or biking distance

Dogs are allowed in the Slough View with prior approval. Guests bringing pets must bring their own pet-containment system (crate, playpen, etc.) to house the animal when it is left alone in the cabin. Guests are liable for any damages done by their pets and may be charged for any additional cleaning required above what is considered normal.

 

RATES

The Slough View Cabin is primarily suited to a couple, but can accommodate up to 4 persons.
Two-night minimum stay required, a 3-night minimum for holiday stays.

Sorry, no one-night rentals.

Pets allowed only with prior approval; pet charge for small pets, $10. Larger pets, $25. Any additional cleaning or damage due to pets will incur additional charge.

$85.00 per night plus tax, double occupancy.

Extra persons are $11 per night—children under 10, no charge (limit, 2).
Discounts may be available for stays longer than three days.

Check-In is 2 PM 
Check-out is 11 AM.

Cancellation and Reservation Policy

A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation.

We accept cash or personal check for payment at the time of your visit. Credit card payment is accepted with prior approval. Debit cards may be charged for the deposit of one night at the time of reservation.

Notice of cancellation must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If we do not receive a notification at least 2 days prior to your arrival date, your credit card will be charged for one night's lodging (two for holidays and reservations for stays over three nights).

We don't use an online calendar. To check for available dates, give us a call between 9am-9pm.
